Planting Design

This front entry garden for an office building will allow workers inside and out to ease their mind while taking a rest at any time of year. This planting is designed to distract you by through movement, height, and color. Blue Vervain will draw your eye through the landscape being accompanied by Alba Blazing Star and Bluestem Goldenrod. The Ironwood tree provides a sense of safety while resting on the bench. The majority of the perennials selected will hold their seed heads through winter, adding a series of buttons and spikes to the landscape. Red Osier Dogwood adds a pop of color to the winter landscape as well. Lastly, you will know spring has arrived when the Wild Geraniums start to bloom along the walkways.
